We can always count on Porsche to keep things interesting. The automotive brand has recently announced that an upgraded 718 Cayman is coming, and here at Porsche of Rancho Mirage we couldn’t be more excited! Below we put together what you can expect from the new 2017 Porsche 718 Cayman.
Two New Motors! That’s right, there are two new motors underneath the hood of this bad boy. The flat-six engines are out and two turbocharged flat-four engines are in. The 2.0-liter in the 718 Cayman produces 300 horsepower and 280 lb.-ft of torque, while the 2.5-liter in the 718 Cayman S boasts 350 horsepower and 309 lb.-ft of torque.
Race Like Experience! The new 718 will feature firmer springs and sway bars and shock absorbers will return. These upgrades work together to bring an improved lateral grip and tracking stability. The steering rack is 10% more responsive than the outgoing Cayman.
Improved Interior! This new model has all the bells and whistles with an eight-speaker Sound Package Plus, Porsche Communication Managment System, Apple CarPlay, Google Earth and WiFi connectivity.
